The literary podcast The Author Corner with Stephanie Larkin interviewed me recently about my oeuvre (I so rarely get to use that SAT word) and my upcoming books. (That’s right; I said “books,” plural.) Stephanie is the CEO and “Head Penguin” of Red Penguin Books, located right in my home of Long Island. Among the topics we discussed were pantsing versus plotting, why Déjà View is a “bipolar book,” being a very late bloomer, and what my beta readers really thought about the spicy scenes in my upcoming romance novel. You can view our chat on YouTube below:
Or if you prefer to just listen to the episode in your car, on a walk, at the gym, or wherever, you can get it here:
Those who obsessively check my website (i.e., me and my Mom) will notice I also updated my Bio page with the video.
Enjoy! Or not! As Black Sheep once rapped, “The choice is yours!”

In other MTP news, Déjà View finally has a trailer! Some of you may be thinking, “Doesn’t this book already have a trailer?” Well, yes and no. Publishers Weekly created a very short promo trailer featuring some of the more laudatory quotes from their review of the book. You can view that here:
But while Danger Peak and The Electric God and Other Shorts were given more cinematic style trailers (particularly The Electric God, as it was created after the AI explosion), Déjà View never received one—until now! And yes, I used AI again, but c’mon folks, I’m not a multibillion dollar movie studio that can afford A-list actors and Spielberg-level special effects; give me a break. I will say that while I use AI to promote my books, I never use AI to write them (unless you count SpellCheck), and that’s a Perone promise you can take to the bank! Anyway, enough stalling. Here it is:
Again, those who compulsively check this website may have seen I already uploaded this trailer to the book’s official page.
That’s all for this week. For my fellow brethren in the Northeast, I hope you’ve dug yourself out of the snow by now. Spring is coming! (hopefully)
